Welcome to CCSMS

The Charleston Charter School for Math and Science offers an advanced curriculum in science and mathematics to 6th to 12th grade scholars living in Charleston County.

Our project-based learning model brings math and science to life and provides a hands-on curriculum that utilizes the best of the Lowcountry’s scientific and natural resources.

In addition to core curriculum classes, courses are offered in six career pathways.

 

Announcements

  • Bus updates

    Good afternoon,

    Due to some drivers being out sick this afternoon, the following buses will be unusually late on their PM routes this PM. These changes are for today only.

    CCMS 2

    • Scholars will arrive about 20 minutes late to their stops.

    CCMS 5  

    • James Island stops will be canceled and those scholars will be picked up at South Windemere or at CCSMS (depending on plans)
    • Scholars will arrive about 30 minutes late to their stops.

    CCMS 4 and CCMS 8 will be combined.

    • The final stops in this combined route will be running up to 45 minutes behind schedule. 

         Order of stops for CCMS 4 and CCMS 8:

    • America St & Jackson St
    • Reid St & East Bay St
    • 68 Calhoun St (Library)
    • Morrison Dr & Romney St
    • Austin Ave & Birdie Garret Ave
