Looking ahead:
Dear CCSMS Families and Scholars,
King Street is closed in front of the school due to the old Masons building partially collapsing. PLEASE do not drop off in the Food Lion Parking Lot, on the side of Grove, or other locations. Please follow all normal procedures for am car loop drop off and pm pick up. This includes driving down Grove Street, entering at the back gate and driving up to the back of the middle school entrance to drop off and pick up.
We love seeing so many scholars in costumes last Friday. They really were amazing! We had Steve Harvey from Family Feud, many historically or mythically inspired costumes, and several friendly Anime characters.
We are aware that some of our families may be experiencing financial difficulties, as some federal workers may not receive paychecks this week, and food-related programs in South Carolina, such as SNAP, are currently without funds due to the federal government shutdown. College Financial Aid Night at CCSMS
Join us on Tuesday, October 28 from 5:30pm to 7pm for an information session on financial aid, completing the FAFSA form, and scholarships. RSVP Here.
Community Partners Highlight - Kids On Point
Kids on Point currently has openings in their after school program. They provide transportation to the College of Charleston Campus Monday to Thursday with their program that runs until 6pm. More information can be found in these documents:

Parents can simply scan the QR code in the link below and follow the directions to access their child's picture ordering gallery. No need to contact Customer Service for an access code! *Student last name and Student ID number will be required for data security.*

Donate backpacks, uniform clothing, tissues, classroom supplies, and gift cards when you can. They can be dropped off in the front office and will be put to use based on the priorities of the day.
