  • Basic supplies help our scholars be ready to learn each day. At the beginning of the school year, their teachers will review what they should bring with them in their backpacks each day. Please note, some of the extra items to store at home are suggested to stock up on for the year when items are cheaper.
  • CCSMS requires clear backpacks for all scholars. More information about clear backpacks.
  • Extra donations of school supplies are always welcome and may be dropped off at the front office during the school day throughout the year.
  • The Nurse’s clinic welcomes donations of small/bathroom size paper cups, instant cold packs, sugar free cough drops, peppermints, and sensitive skin band aids of all sizes.

Supply Lists

6th Grade

Supplies to bring each day with extras kept at home:

·     1 clear backpack

·     Tightly sealed refillable water bottle, no glass

·     1 pack of 24 pencils - Start each day with 2 or 3 sharpened pencils in your backpack

·     1 pack of 12 blue or black pens, bring 2 to 3

·     1 pack of Colored pencils

·     2 glue sticks

·     6 college-ruled composition books

·     1 pack college-ruled loose-leaf paper

·     4 Two-pocket folders with prongs (any color)

·     1 pack of highlighters (at least 3 different colors)

·     Wired Earbuds or headphones for the Chromebooks (no Bluetooth, no wireless)

Note: Scholars will take elective courses and may need additional supplies as requested by the teacher.

6th grade classroom supplies to bring August 11th or the first week of school:

·     3 boxes of pencils

·     1 Pack of dry erase markers

·     1 Pack of highlighters

·     2 Boxes of tissues/Kleenex

·     1 Jumbo-size hand sanitizer

·     1 Container wipes (non-bleach)

·     1 Pack of college ruled loose leaf paper

·     Post it notes, any size or color

 

7th Grade

·     Scholars taking Biology 1 – 1” binder and dividers

·   Expo or dry erase markers - a pack of 3 or 4 pack

·   1 pack of college ruled loose-leaf paper

·   4 Spiral college-ruled 1 subject notebooks or Composition notebooks (may need 8 for full year /4 per semester)

·   2-pocket folders with prongs (may need 8 for full year /4 per semester)

·   USB Stick labeled or marked with permanent marker with their name

·   Wired Earbuds or headphones for the Chromebooks (no Bluetooth, no wireless)
