Charleston Charter School for Math and Science 2025-26 School Year Supply Lists

 

  • Basic supplies help our scholars be ready to learn each day. At the beginning of the school year, their teachers will review what they should bring with them in their backpacks each day. Please note, some of the extra items to store at home are suggested to stock up on for the year when items are cheaper.
  • CCSMS is requiring clear backpacks for all scholars starting with the 2025-26 school year.
  • Extra donations of school supplies are always welcome and may be dropped off at the front office during the school day throughout the year.
  • The Nurse’s clinic always welcomes donations of small/bathroom size paper cups, instant cold packs (the kind you can store on a shelf and then bend it to activate), sugar free cough drops, peppermints, and sensitive skin band aids of all sizes.

  • 1 clear backpack
  • Tightly sealed refillable water bottle
  • 1 pack of 24 pencils - Start each day with 2 or 3 sharpened pencils in your backpack
  • 1 pack of 12 blue or black ink pens, bring 2 to 3
  • 1 pack of Colored pencils
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 6 college-ruled composition books
  • 1 pack college-ruled loose-leaf paper
  • 4 Two-pocket folders with prongs (any color)
  • 1 pack of highlighters (at least 3 different colors)
  • Scissors - school safety scissors
  • 4-function calculator ($5 or less kind with just +, -, x, and division signs)
  • Wired Earbuds or headphones for the Chromebooks (no Bluetooth, no wireless)
  • Wired Mouse (Wired is preferred due to scholars losing the USB inserts and batteries dying)
